Data we may process
Standard server logs may contain IP address, browser/user-agent information, requested URL, response status and timestamp. This information is used for operation, security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Support requests
If you contact us, we process the name, email address, subject, message and technical information you choose to provide. The purpose is to answer the request, troubleshoot problems, document the support history and protect the service from abuse.
Account and support data is processed to provide requested services and take steps before entering into a contract. Security and abuse prevention are based on legitimate interests in protecting the service and its users.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card data, private activation secrets or other information that is not necessary to resolve the request.
Cookies
The public website uses necessary storage for language and privacy settings. The account portal uses its own necessary session and security storage. With your permission, website statistics are processed by our own Killstat system. You can change your choice in Privacy settings.
Account data
The account stores your name, email, protected password hash (not the password), email verification, account status and dates, login sessions and security events, support requests and messages. These enable sign-in, recovery, account services and support.
Service providers and transfers
We use providers of hosting, network infrastructure, security and email delivery for the website and account portal. Data may be processed outside the United Kingdom. Information about recipients and applicable international transfer safeguards is available from [email protected].
Retention
Account and support data is retained for service delivery, resolving enquiries and meeting applicable legal obligations. Retention also takes account of security and dispute-resolution needs. Expired sessions and temporary tokens are regularly deleted. Backup copies are retained for a limited period.
Your rights
Depending on your location, privacy law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or obtain a copy of personal data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions.
You may object specifically to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or your competent local data protection authority. Contacting us first is welcome but is not a condition for making a complaint.
